Green River Pictures was founded by Derek Hallquist while he did free lance work in Broadcast Television. Derek grew up on the Green River Reservoir in Hyde Park, Vermont and named the company for the place where he started photographing landscapes. Though he has traveled to many beautiful places around the world, Derek still believes that it is one of the most serene places on planet earth.
Green River Pictures is based out of Burlington, Vermont, nestled between Vermont’s Green Mountains and Lake Champlain. The stunning views of the Adirondacks, beautiful Lake Champlain, and the Green Mountains make Burlington an idyllic place to do business. Green River Pictures is proud to be part of the Vermont community and enjoys working with local businesses, as well as business and individuals from all over the East Coast, helping them to create top quality imaging and visual media.
